Why did I decide to create this space?

I often get questions about what women want from a man or partner. I can only really answer from my own perspective about specific things, but there are general characteristics, aspects, and expectations people want from someone they will be holding a relationship with. I decided that maybe it would be a good idea to create a space for men to be able to ask questions and gain information and insight into what women may want when it comes to relationships with men.

I did some research to see what was available and frankly, the information available for men about what they can do for themselves to attract a partner is obismal...much of the information is about "tricking" women into liking a man, by being someone they aren't! Then when things don't work out, or no one is giving them a second look, the he is left upset and confused because they "did everything they were told to get a woman."

The amount of bitterness and feelings of defeat I have seen across social media and chatting with men is saddening and concerning. Men are told that if they do ABC they are guaranteed to get "this" or "that" type of woman. It upsets me that people are promising things they cannot with "foolproof methods" to "grab a date" or "score."

It's not about getting a date. It's about learning about yourself, what you want and need, and using that information to be who you really are and comfortable with who you are. The person who wants you for YOU is the person you want.

There are men writing books, posting on social media and creating expensive packages under the false pretense that they can tell you what a woman wants and needs. Just like I cannot tell a woman what a man wants, how can a man tell you what women want and need. I am not a man, but I can tell you what I know women want from my perspective and having relationships with the women in my life.
